The Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai is one of the few mosques in the UAE that can be visited by non-Islamic tourists. On the initiative of the Sheikh Mohammed Center for the Development of Mutual Understanding in the Field of Culture, anyone can enter the mosque twice a week under the supervision of guides in order to become better acquainted with the traditions of Arab families. Tourists are explained the meaning of prayers and the basics of communication with Allah.
